What We at New Life Lutheran Church Believe
- Our belief is rooted in the words of the Bible as the inspired Word of God.
- We believe in the triune God – God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and we know and understand that we as individuals are all sinners who cannot save ourselves, but only in faith in Jesus Christ’s life, death, and resurrection be saved and have eternal and everlasting life, peace, and happiness with Him.
- We believe in this faith for you as well and we openly welcome you into God’s family at New Life Lutheran Church and to His table.
- We follow the Common Confession of The North American Lutheran Church.
Communion Table
Our Lord Jesus Christ prayed for his church, “that they might be one, even as you, Father, are in me and I in you.” (John 17:21a) For the apostle Paul the oneness of the church as the body of Christ is founded on the confession of “one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.” (Ephesians 4:5-6)
Through baptism we are welcomed into the Body of Christ. This means we are united with Jesus Christ and with all other baptized persons. “For by the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body.” (1 Cor.12:13)
Those baptized are welcome to the Lord’s table. We encourage you, as a baptized individual to come to the table, so we may be one in unity with you and our Heavenly Father in remembrance of Christ’s body given for us and for all people; and Christ’s blood shed for us and for all people according to their sins. If you are not baptized, we are happy you are here and welcome you to New Life Lutheran Church.
